Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
This is one of the top leading destinations in the country known to be home to almost half of the world’s population of mountain gorillas that can be seen play, feed and close to man’s closest relative is an unmatched experience but to do so you will need to have purchased a gorilla trekking permit from the Uganda Wildlife Authority that does cost only $700 per person for foreign residents, $600 for foreign residents and UGX 250,000/= for East African citizens.
While doing gorilla trekking, you will also get the opportunity to see other wildlife species that can be found within the park’s premises. These include several species of birds, butterflies, insects and so much more.
Queen Elizabeth National Park
This is a must visit destination while in Uganda as it has a lot to offer. The experience is rewarding as you will get to witness how the Nile River forces its way through a narrow gorge forming a thunderous sound. It’s also here that you will be able to see the famous rainbow that is seen in photos.

Kibale Forest National Park

The park has over 13 primate species that does include chimpanzees, red tailed monkey, olive baboon, blue monkey, black and white Colubus monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkey, among others. Kidepo Valley National Park
