Day 1: Arrival and briefing about the 15 days Uganda safaris
Upon arrival, our driver will pick you up from Entebbe airport and transfer you to your hotel. They will then brief you about what you should expect and look forward to on your 15 days Uganda safaris trip.
You will then take your dinner and then rest to prepare for a memorable trip .

Day 2: Transfer to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary and Murchison Falls National Park
After your early morning breakfast, our driver/guide will transfer you from Entebbe in the early morning hours to avoid the traffic jam in Kampala during hours and embark on a trip to Murchison Falls National Park.
You will use the Kampala – Masindi route that does connect you to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary where you will stop to have a look at the rhinos in their natural habitat. This is the only place in Uganda where you will be able to see these species as they roam within the premises of the sanctuary.
After here, you will go to Masindi hotel where you will have a stop for lunch. After lunch you will continue to Murchison Falls National Park which upon arrival, you will continue to the top of the falls to see how the world’s most powerful waterfall- Murchison Falls were formed before you proceed to your lodge.
Once you get to your lodge, you will check in, have dinner and then rest.

Day 3: Game drive and boat cruise
After your early morning breakfast, our driver/guide will take you for for a game drive around the park to see the various wildlife species that do include such as warthogs, hyenas, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, topi, leopards, and several species of birds.
After the game drive, you will head back to your hotel for lunch and then later head for a boat cruise along the Nile River which gives you a clear view of the fall. You will also get the opportunity to see other wildlife species that include hippos, crocodiles, various species of birds and so much more.
You will then head back to your hotel for dinner and then rest.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
You will wake early in the morning, take breakfast and our driver will then transfer you to Kibale Forest National Park situated in the western part of Uganda. You will get to enjoy the scenic views along the route that does include the plantations, rolling hills and valleys, road side markets and much more.
Upon reaching Fort portal, you will stop over for Lunch and then proceed to your lodge. Once you arrive, check in and in the evening you can embark on an optional community walk to discover how people within this part country interact with each other and the different locally made crafts you can purchase.
You will then head to your lodge for dinner and resting

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi wetland sanctuary
Wake up excited because this is the day you will get to see man’s closest relative – Chimpanzees in their natural habitat. After your breakfast, our driver will take you to the park headquarters for briefing about the guidelines you need to follow during chimpanzee tracking and what you should expect.
You will then be led into the forest to search for the chimpanzees with the help of armed rangers and guides. Upon spotting them, you will be allowed to spend time of up to 1hr while observing and taking as many photos as you want of these species as they play, feed and much more.
It’s during this time that you be filled with the valuable history and information regarding the chimpanzees, other primates and Kibale Forest National Park.
After chimpanzee tracking, you will be led back to the park headquarters where our guide will pick you up and take you back to your hotel for lunch.
After lunch, you will be taken to Bigodi wetland Sanctuary known to be the best birding destination. Some of the species of birds, you need to look forward to seeing include; the papyrus gonolek, the elusive shoebill stock, kingfishers, waxbills, weavers, cuckoos, hornbills and much more. You will as well be able to see primates like colobus monkeys and small mammals like the otters.
Our driver will then take you back to your hotel for dinner and then resting.

Day 6: Sempaya hot springs and Kibale crater lakes
Right after breakfast, our driver/guide will transfer you to the Sempaya hot springs situated within the Semuliki National Park. These hot springs exist in different tows of springs and these are both male and female situated in different locations.
While here, you will get the opportunity to participate in the egg boing experience which is rewarding and memorable. Our driver will then take you to the different crater lakes found within Kibale and these were formed as a result of volcanic activity.
You will then head back to your lodge for lunch and then rest.

Day 7: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and game drive
You will wake up, have breakfast and then embark on a trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park where upon arrival, you will check in to your hotel, have lunch and then head for a game drive in the Kasenyi plains that does give you the opportunity to see some wildlife species like the lions, hyenas, antelopes, warthogs, buffaloes, elephants and much more animals as they roam through the park.
You will then head back to your lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 8: Boat cruise and then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park with a brief game drive in Ishasha
After your breakfast, you will go for a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel which presents you an opportunity to various animals like the hippos, crocodiles, various bird species and other animals like buffaloes, elephants, antelopes at the shores.
You will then head back to your lodge for lunch, check out and embark on a trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with a brief game drive in the Ishasha sector – popularly known to be home to the tree climbing lions.
You will arrive in Bwindi in the evening, check in at your lodge, take dinner and then rest.

Day 9: Gorilla trekking and batwa cultural experience
Your 15 days Uganda safari would be incomplete if you didn’t get the chance to see mountain gorillas in their habitat in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Before you go for gorilla trekking, you will need to have purchased a gorilla trekking permit From Uganda Wildlife Authority and as Uganda Self Drives, we help you reserve your permit at no extra cost.
Right after your breakfast in the early morning, our driver will transfer you to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about the guidelines you need to follow while close and during gorilla trekking. You will then be led into the dense rainforest in search mountain gorillas and upon spotting them, you will allowed to spend time of up to 1hr while observing their behavior and taking as many photos as you want.
After the 1hr, you will then be led back to the park headquarters where you will be led back to the park headquarters where you will be awarded a certificate indicating that you did participate in gorilla trekking in Uganda.
Our driver will then pick you up and transfer you to your lodge for lunch and a few hours of resting.
In the evening, our guide/driver will take you to the Batwa community of people who initially lived within Bwindi before it was established to pave way for conservation of gorillas and other wildlife species that live within this park. These were later resettled in areas surrounding the park and introduced to new farming practices.
While here, you will get the opportunity to see them perform for local folk songs and dance as well. Our driver will later take you back to your lodge for dinner and resting.

Day 10: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
In the morning after your breakfast, our driver will transfer you to Lake Bunyonyi which happens to be the second deepest lake in the Africa. The lake is surrounded by the ever green hills made of terraces and while here you can capture the picturesque views of this part of the country.
Also within the lake, are the islands that you will be able to see. You will then check in to your lodge, have meals and then rest.

Day 11: Visit Lake Bunyonyi Islands
After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to a spot where you will get a boat to go visit the various islands found within Lake Bunyonyi. It’s here that you will enjoy the picturesque views of the surrounding areas of the Lake.
You will also get the opportunity to visit the punishment island known as Akampene which does have a strong history about the people of Kabale who live close to the Lake. You can as well enjoy swimming in the lake.
Lake Bunyonyi is the only Lake that’s free of bilharzia and safe for you to swim. From here, you will return to your lodge for lunch and rest.

Day 12: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park and evening game drive
After your early morning breakfast, you embark on a trip to the Lake Mburo National Park which is the closest National park to Kampala. On your trip to the park, you will get to enjoy the beautiful scenic views of the rolling hills and valleys, plantations, roadside markets and much more.
Upon arrival in Mbarara, you will stop over at the Igongo cultural centre for lunch and then proceed to the park. You will arrive in Lake Mburo in the late afternoon.
Upon arrival, you will continue and do a game drive which gives you the opportunity to have a look at the various wildlife species that live within the boundaries of this park. These include; zebras, elands, impalas, bush rat, giraffes, oribis, duikers and much more.
You will then check in to your lodge, have dinner and then rest.

Day 13: Boat cruise and transfer to Jinja
After your morning breakfast, our driver will take you for a boat cruise which introduces you to some of the wildlife species that do live here that include crocodiles, hippos, several species of birds and so much more.
After your boat cruise, you will head back to your hotel, check out and then embark on a long trip to Jinja. On this journey, you will as well enjoy the scenic views and the different road side markets.
Upon reaching the equator sign in Kayabwe, you will have a stopover for some photos and while here you can also check out the locally made crafts like clothing, bags, sandals and much. Continue to Jinja and upon arrival, you will check in to your lodge, have dinner and then rest.

Day 14: White rafting, source of the Nile and optional bungee jumping
After your early morning breakfast, our driver will transfer you to a point where you have a look at the source of the Nile River – which is the longest river in the world. From here you will then be taken for white water rafting still at the Nile. This might be a thrilling experience but it’s completely rewarding and memorable.
You will then head back to your hotel for lunch and right after lunch you will be led back to the Nile River for bungee jumping.
Return to your lodge for dinner and then rest.

Day 15: Transfer back to Kampala
